I was sick last week.....but was not on MC....haha...typical me...had a dry throat...then, felt feverish and cold....of course, I guess it must be due to the weather and also the office environment which is neverending and freaking cold.....
Since I was not too well, naturally I was shivering all the time.....then I had those red spots appearing on the right hand....wowww...that totally freaked me out....and I decided to finally see a doctor....despite the earlier requests from everyone for me to see a doctor including from my close friend here and also him.....awwwww.......I just didn't want to see a doctor here in Penang....reason being, I had a totally bad experience and I totally sworn off the doctors here.
Yeah, during CNY, I hurt and injured my knee...so went to the clinic..yeah, opposite USM, I am gonna name it....too bad I do not have the doctor's name.
Klinik University..that's it...and the doctor was in a bad mood I think...i also waited for half an hour before going in and I was cool about it....
Anyway, as I was relating to the doctor my predicament and also how the other medicine from another doctor was not helping and that the wounds are not healing after 3-4 days of medication, etc etc....she just RUDELY...yeah, I mean RUDELY interrupted or rather snapped at me:
Doc: You finished your medicine?
Me: Ermmm, not yet..
Doc: Then how do you expect the wounds to heal???!!!!
Me: I am not expecting the wounds to heal...I just wanted to know why the pain's still there and there's no change after taking the medicine...
Doc: How many days have you taken the medicine?
Me: 3-4 days...and it's a 5 days medication (showed her the pills given)
Doc: 5 days???!!! And you haven't finished...
Me: Yes, I took them but of course, I have to work so sometimes I cannot follow accurately the times.........
Doc: You never finish the medicine, never follow the time and now what you want?
(GAPING)
Me: I am not expecting speedy recovery, I just want to know about the pain since the doctor said the medicine should help the wound a little...but seems like the wound is getting worse
(Doesn't seem to understand my situation)
Doc: If you don't finish your medicine, you can't expect miracles to happen.....
Me: (WHY DOESN't She understand what I am trying to say????!!!!Am I speaking Greek here???) Nooo...it's not about finishing the medicine, I just want to know how long will this wound take to heal and is there any side effects...
Doc: As long as you take your medicine on time and finish, you will recover....
Like DUUUUUUUUUUUUUHHHHHHHH, I don't need a medical degree to know that.....
All she cared about is finishing medicine finishing medicine....yeah, go ahead and finish all your own medicine in your precious clinic and I hope you drown in them.....*nasty princess*.....
**SOB SOB**
Mean doctor....with no professional ethics at all.....and, mind if I add, the wound is still there with its mark....so should I file a law suit that it did not heal as what she said after taking the medicine????GAHHHHHH.......
If you do not have the patience or caring nature for people, PLEASE PLEASE do the society a favour....just don't be a Doctor...you do not deserve the noble title of a caring service provider...grrrrr
Too bad I don't have her name....doctors like her....hmmm, she doesn't deserve to be addressed as a doctor anyway...she's like a witch with a capital B....I know I am turning nasty....
BUT...I am totally innocent....if I know everything, do I need to see a doctor???
The previous experience was another doctor who gave me drowsy medicine and caused me to throw up and dizziness....goodness knows what medicine she prescribed...I only went there for treatment for my gastric....GOSHHHHHHHHHHHHH.....one word, doctors in Penang are so so so HORRIBLE!!!!
Okay, that was such a stereotyped and biased statement...I changed my mind after I went to this clinic in Pulau Tikus...Koe Clinic. Mum told me about a famous doctor before...also Koe or something, anyway, perhaps this was the one she meant.
My dear friend sent me there....sorry for causing you to rush for your meeting :(
I waited for an hour...the doctor was not around....then she came rushing in, full of remorse and guilt...soon, it was my turn.
She apologized and smiled amiably at me when i went in...she's not Dr. Koe, her name's Dr. Ng.....very fair and thin lady, dressed in simple and old-fashioned clothes but she has an awesome persona....I liked her.
She told me that she was caught up in a farewell lunch for her friend's daughter who's leaving abroad for further studies the next day.
Then she advised me on my illness and explained stuffs in detail.
I took her medicine and some caused drowsiness which she warned me of earlier.
I recovered and had a few good nights' sleep .....hehehe......too sleepy though....
Even the nurses are nice and friendly....
Hmmm....this will be one of the specific clinics I will visit if I am ever sick again......
Ohhh...also, I was well taken care of while I was not well...someone made sure I took my medicine....so, besides feeling miserable, I felt spoilt too...hehehe....
Yeah...get well soon...caused someone to worry unnecessarily...and also thought someone bought the little Pooh for me....
Get well soon, little gal....
Yeah, I am already well....YIPPEE!!!
Awwwwwwwwwwww....my customers in Bangalore are not gonna fund my travel to India to conduct training for them.....I felt so rejected...unwanted...*sob sob*
It's not like I am dying to go to Bangalore...in fact, I was not too keen to go there since everyone said it's not such a safe country to be in and also there were some hygiene issues...and I am kinda health freak :P However, that's another issue, me not wanting to go and being turned down is soooo..........awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww.......
I am :
unwanted
rejected
insignificant
unimportant
useless
deprioritized
worthless
petty
Wuahhhhhh.....crying crying uncontrollably.....
*Heard from dad that Bangalore is one of the most advanced cities....with their impressive architecture and advancement in their Silicon Valley.....Wuahahhhhhhh.......
Will I have a Flounder or a Sebastian to cheer me up???....wuahhhhh....
Hmmmm.....of all the Disney princesses.... Princess Aurora of Sleeping Beauty is my favourite....she's just so pretty, sweet and demure...a true princess to the core....hehehe....sounds like DPCSP.....If I was a pretty as her....of course, the right word to describe her is beautiful...with all the three wonderful gifts bestowed upon her at birth by her cute and petite little fairy godmothers....hehehe(I love those 2 with the red and blue fairies....always arguing on the colour best for Aurora's dress...)Golden hair smooth and shiny like silk, lips red as rose, skin fair as snow.....whoa....of course, she's a cartoon character....:)Aurora is definitely a beauty....sleeps and behold, her charming and handsome prince plants a kiss on her lips and then, they live happily ever after....Now, last week someone called me Sleeping Beauty as well...hehehe....
I feel like tonnes of rocks just fell atop me....suffocating for breath....flipping my hands up in the air....desperate for some fresh air......aaaahhhhhh.....pull me out of this....aaahhhh
Nah, just ignore that....just a random chirp from me....I just realized I have so much to work on at the moment....goshhhhh....all those training materials need to completed and they are starting to confuse me...arrggghhh....it's really confusing...and not properly arranged in the manner to conduct a proper training *sob* *sob*
Now I have to conduct a training for the Asia designers and engineers....yeah, the expectations are there after I underwent the training from my mentor in the US who happens to be a manager....pretty cool...hehehe..
Not only that...I have to manage the testing stuffs, database, schedule and logistics, software, etc etc.....the list is long....and this week is the end of the quarter.....i feel so suffocated...I am drowning....Wuahhhhhhhh (crying and looking for a shoulder to cry on....)
Pooh, you are supposed to be a busy bee....not a lazy bee...hiding inside the flower and enjoying your honey!!! Hrrrmmmmpphhh.....And, isn't Pooh supposed to be bear....what are you doing....doing a bee's job???
**Momentary lapse into madness**
Hehehe....doesn't sound right huh? Well, no kidding, I did attend a bachelor party....which was initially a housewarming party...then a job confirmation celebration which in the end turned out to be a bachelor's night party....of course, a little imperfect with the inclusion of me....a girl in the celebration.
Nevertheless, they didn't mind me...hahaha, in fact I was their special guest. I have these 3 colleagues who were transferred from the Philippines to be based in Malaysia. I got to know about them from my mentor, the one who trained me up and went along with me to Shanghai. So, they are like my big brothers now but one bummer though, we have yet to go for any outings or meals together.
Anyway, back to the night, Richard(the owner of the condo) invited me over to his place for housewarming and also the rest of his group which comprises of all the guys....all engineers...and no kidding, their group is totally male-dominated :P Initially I was about to turn down but felt kinda bad since we haven't really had much opportunities to hang out together...furthermore, I know almost the whole team...so, I decided to go...bold of me huh...since they are all guys...:P
So, we had dinner and then loads of fun; since it was a potluck party, almost everyone had to bring in something...which I was clearly not notified of at all. So, I had to go shopping with Rico who was so kind to pick me up from my house. We went to Tesco and bought loads of fruits...since I had that crazy idea to make fruit salad. By the time we arrived at Richard's condo, most of the guys were already there and Richard was already done with his cooking...which was all pork and chicken...hahaha....and the guys were surprised that we actually initiated some healthy food...FRUITS....can you believe it, one of them actually bought a salad; vege salad and it was left untouched and unopened the entire night? Sighhh......not only kids do that huh....wrong perception all the while :P
There's Rico...hard at work in the kitchen...cutting the pineapple to prepare the healthy food....hehehe.... :p
Anyway, we ended up trying to concoct a fruit punch and not a fruit salad anymore. We wanted to be innovative but we forgot about the juice...insufficient for a whole pot of cocktail. I think we also kinda failed with the so-called fruit cocktail since majority of the food was mostly apple....my fault...I cut too much apples :(
However, to my pleasant surprise, most of the guys actually took a liking to the "apple punch" we made and even took them as desserts and snacked on the cut fruits while watching the exciting game of badminton competing for the Thomas Cup...that they didn't even realize the fruits were spiked...hahaha...not me, it was another guy, who actually dropped some alcohol into the fruits but unbeknownst to the others who enjoyed the fruits.
Overall, it was full of fun...the guys were all super funny...hmmmm, they were making a lot of fun about marriages:P
Not just that, they even snapped pictures of my drinking my own fruit punch....historical moment, or so they claimed...hahaha...
They even tried to get me to take pictures with those bottles of alcohol and beer they finished....just to blackmail me in the future....hahaha...and yes, I can swear that I did not drink a single drop in those empty bottles and cans....I do NOT drink...in fact, I kinda dislike drinkers...:p
